Each wedding at Langdale Vineyard Restaurant is individually planned to meet your needs and budget and to make sure everything goes the way you planned it on this special occasion. Langdale’s Chefs have designed a range of menus for you to choose from and are happy to accommodate and assist with any changes you may like to make.

About Us

Langdale is set among the vineyard and surrounded by established trees and gardens only 15 minutes from Christchurch at West Melton.

It is a popular wedding/ event venue.

Our cuisine is creative using fresh local produce and is complemented by an extensive wine list highlighting locally produced wines.

It is possible to dine in our gardens surrounded by roses and lavander or take advantage of seating in our restaurant area or winery hall.

The surrounds provide ideal photo opportunities.

The range of menus include finger foods, buffets and table service menus.

Planning  Your  Wedding  Reception.

Number of guests. Langdale can comfortably seat up to 130.

Menus. A wide range to choose from or talk to the chef/owner who will help you design your own special menu.
Bar. Fully licensed we can offer a full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at a reasonable rate.

Entertainment. Live bands, DJs or other musicians or entertainers are welcome. We can provide music from our sound system or you can bring your own ipod.

Wedding Venue hire : $1800.

Your wedding venue hire includes.

  • Exclusive use of the venue.
  • Outdoor or indoor ceremony areas.
  • White chairs for Ceremony area.
  • Wine barrel for signing registry.
  • Tables and chairs.
  • Linen – white linen cloths and napkins.
  • Glassware, crockery and cutlery.
  • Bar and waiting staff.
  • Wine barrel and knife for cake.
  • Wireless internet access.
  • Indoor / outdoor audio system.
  • Wireless PA system for speeches .
  • Small easel on wine barrel for place seating arrangement.
  • Number stands and numbers for tables.
  • Cutting of wedding cake.

Payment terms.

To confirm your booking we require a $500.00 deposit (nonrefundable)

We require confirmed guest numbers four days prior to booked date with balance of venue hire fee and menu costs paid on this date.
( 2% surcharge if paying by credit card )

Balance of account to be paid on function date.
